Weekend Fun

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone had a great weekend that was finally RAIN FREE!!  The sun was shining, we didn’t have to bundle up to go outside it was greatness! It was nice to be able to spend a weekend together but let me tell you it was jam packed full!

We spent Saturday all day down in Des Moines becoming completely somewhat overwhelmed with what to register sweet baby girl Kinser for.  Now that’s not completely true but we did this is a similar fashion to how we registered for wedding gifts and it worked great.  So here was our game plan:

Browse through the baby aisles of Target, get an idea of what we really want to register for and if we want to register for it at Target.  Once we felt we had seen everything we wanted at Target we headed over to Babies R’ Us. Let the overwhelming feeling begin :).  Now in some areas it felt awesome at Babies R’ Us, for example the stroller/car seat area.  Heck yes we “test drove” all the strollers we were considering, and folded them up, and set them back up again.  We would carry the car seat around, lift it on and off the stroller just to make sure we knew we were getting what we wanted.  It was great!  We left feeling as if we had a better handle on what we wanted for our car seat/stroller.  Now when we looked at the wall of bottles and pacifiers the overwhelming feeling set-in so we just walked away and decided to talk to some of our friends with kids before heading back to that section.

After our baby shopping fun, I discovering that Daddy is a total sucker for his little girl!! We headed over to Altoona for some wedding reception fun! It was nice to get out of the house and have a little date night 🙂
